"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25: 35-40 (NIV)
Every day is an opportunity to minister to others, either individually, or corporately. Sometimes ministry is as simple as asking a person how they are and listening to the answer. Other times we are called upon to help in catastrophic situations. As members of Argyle United Methodist Church we take our "Great Commission" to heart and lead by following Jesus' example. Members at Argyle UMC support many agencies, financially and through active participation.
