AUMC understands that there are many wonderful opportunities to serve our community which you would like to advertise in the bulletin or another of our media venues. Because of the many requests we receive we have developed a process for approving and promoting these opportunities.
All promotional material is subject to the discretion of the communications team of Argyle United Methodist Church. Events must support our church’s mission of “Seek, Grow, Serve.” Promotional media resources include the printed newsletter, the all-church email, the announcements monitor at the Welcome Center, the weekly bulletin, space at the Welcome Center, and video.
Articles may be edited because of space constraints.

Your entry is to be submitted to Tammie Nuoci at tammie@argyleumc.org. Please submit complete articles and request the specific publicity venue(s) you prefer. You will be contacted if there are any questions or if additional information is needed.
Newsletter
Issue Date: 1st of each month
Deadline: 2009: 8/17, 9/21, 10/19, 11/16, 12/21
2010: 1/18, 2/15, 3/15, 4/19, 5/17, 6/21, 7/19, 8/16, 9/20
Guidelines: Articles can start running 2 issues in advance of the event start date.
All-Church Email
Issue Date: Weekly Wednesday Afternoon
Deadline: Monday, 4:00 pm
Guidelines: Items for the all-church email can run for 4 consecutive weeks.
Announcements Monitor at Welcome Center
Issue Date: Weekly Updated on Thursday
Deadline: Monday, 4:00 pm
Guidelines: Announcements can run for 4 consecutive weeks. If at all possible you must
provide your own powerpoint slide at 16:9 resolution.
Bulletin Announcements
Issue Date: Each Worship Service
Deadline: Monday, 4:00 pm
Guidelines: Announcements can run for 4 consecutive weeks.

Welcome Center

Deadline: 2 weeks ahead of reservation date
Guidelines: Highlight your event for up to 4 consecutive weeks. Your presence at the Welcome Center before and
after worship services is required.
Website
Issue Date: 1st week of each month
Deadline: 3 weeks ahead of issue date
Guidelines: Items can run for 4 consecutive weeks.
Video Announcements
Issue Date: Sunday
Deadline: Monday, 4:00 pm
Guidelines: May be used for church sponsored events only. Show for only one week.
You must provide the video. Maximum length: 2 minutes.
Please provide all content for your event. If it is edited for space, we will provide the edited copy for approval before publication.
