At Argyle UMC, we take health and safety seriously.
As part of efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect visitors, laity, and staff, Argyle UMC is adhering to guidelines and statutes as laid out by both the Texas Governor’s Task Force Checklist for Churches/Places of Worship and Bishop McGee.
This page is dedicated to providing updates on AUMC policy as we move forward with re-opening the church. Church facilities and services have been divided into three major segments to assist visitors and members in determining what is currently available, as displayed below. The church reopened on July 12th, 2020.
Expectations of guests and visitors are detailed here as well, and will be modified as guidelines and statues evolve surrounding COVID-19. Please be aware that the health and safety of all persons are foremost as we move forward in this period of global challenge and suffering.
Worship Service
We have two worship services: Modern and Traditional. All families are welcome to either. Seating is available for parties of one to six.
-Traditional Service begins at 9 A on Sundays and ends by 10 A.
-Modern Service begins at 11 A on Sundays and ends by 12 P.
Small Groups
We now have a designated hour (10 A) for every member of your family to connect with others and grow in your faith.
Please be patient with us during children’s check-in as we are doing our best to get everyone checked in quickly and safely. Want to know what check-in looks like? Tour guides Kelli and Danielle walk you through the process here.
Church Office
The Church Office and Campus are available to visitors outside of worship services by appointment only.
Hours of Business: Monday-Thursday, 9 A to 4 P.
Visitors will be required to adhere to COVID-19 Policies as detailed on this page.
Masks or face coverings that shield both the nose and mouth are recommended, but not required, for those attending worship services or other functions on campus for ages 4 and up. Please bring your own mask as Argyle UMC does not have extra masks for those who wish to wear one.
